As promotions begin to soar before the release of Justice League, the DCEU has announced that they will be increasing the number of screenings across the board.

In a strategic partnership with Regal Cinemas, Warner Bros. will deploy double-screenings for Wonder Woman and Justice League together. As it is likely that fans of the franchise will be looking to relive Patty Jenkins’ origin story about Diana Prince before the premiere of the set League, they will be given that opportunity.

Last year saw the release of two very polarizing productions in the form of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. Both revoked a somewhat timid response from fans and critics. But the phenomenal success of Wonder Woman earlier this year has somewhat eased the pressure on the release results of Justice League.

After receiving rave reviews, Wonder Woman raked in over $400 million at the US box office alone – shattering all previous DCEU records.

The still-fledgling DCEU will be looking to stamp its place in the superhero genre with the epic team-up of its mightiest superheroes. After double-screenings were announced in the US, we wonder whether the move will follow suit everywhere else. Given how much sense it makes and how big the global market is, it very well could.

Justice League marks its worldwide release on 16 November 2017.
